Bailey Dewberry's Fundraiser

Ever since I stepped foot in Belize in 2019, it has felt like home. The people quickly captivated my heart. God began calling me to the mission field in 2023. I always knew I’d end up in Belize one day, but I never expected it so soon. Yet, God’s plan was so much better than mine. After working for about two years as a labor and delivery nurse in the States, I moved to Belize in March 2024. Since then, the Lord has continued to make my path clear.

I currently serve as the ground Medical Coordinator, planning and coordinating our quarterly medical mission trips. I love this role because it allows me to build relationships with Belizeans and with our short-term mission teams from the US. I also have the privilege of serving with our youth ministry, 3D Friends, as well as local nursing students. God keeps giving me countless opportunities to share the Gospel, not only by telling others, but by showing them through my actions.

Being on the ground in Belize has grown my faith in ways I never imagined. The Lord shows up time and time again, especially when life feels unpredictable. I’m often asked how long I’ll stay in Belize. My answer is always the same: as long as God wants me here.
